Inner Body wisdom

An Eating Recovery Coaching Program Designed to help women trust themselves

and their body again

Inner Body Wisdom

Inner Body Wisdom

This 12- week weight-inclusive coaching program is rooted in a clinical understanding of the eating recovery journey,
while focusing on the strengths that are innately within you to transcend it.

The four elements of eating recovery

  • Educate

Learn about the forces that shaped your relationship to food, body, & exercise, and uncover the misleading information targeting your subconscious fears & desires.

  • regulate

Learn to regulate your nervous system so you can clearly access tools to respond to diet culture, thin privilege, body diversity bias, body changes, perfectionism, and inner critic.

  • Integrate

Access the wisdom of your body-mind so you can know your body as a RESOURCE in recovery, not the problem.

  • embody

Embody the lived experience of joy, access your heart’s guidance, feel pleasure, unapologetic living and tell a new body story.

  • "It is through our body that we experience the pleasures of this life. It is time to release the conditioned belief that she/he (the body) needs to be controlled and remember the body as a deep Soul friend calling us home."

the principals of health at Every Size

(HAES)

is A movement we are deeply rooted in

it is a movement which is the undercurrent of Inner Body Wisdom

(even as we await updates to principals)

  • Weight Inclusivity

We accept and respect the inherent diversity of body shapes and sizes and reject the idealizing or pathologizing of specific weights.

  • Health Enhancement

We support health policies that improve and equalize access to information and services, and personal practices that improve human well-being, including attention to individual physical, economic, social, spiritual, emotional and other needs.

  • EATING FOR WELL-BEING

We pomote flexible, individualized eating based on hunger, satiety, nutritional needs, and pleasure, rather than any externally regulated eating plan focused on weight control.

  • RESPECTFUL CARE

We acknowledge our biases, and work to end weight discrimination, weight stigma, and weight bias. Provide information and services from an understanding that socio-economic status, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, and other identities impact weight stigma, and support environments that address these inequities.

  • LIFE-ENHANCING MOVEMENT

We support physical activities that allow people of all sizes, abilities, and interests to engage in enjoyable movement, to the degree that they choose.
