Super bills may be provided for reimbursement depending upon your specific insurance plan.

(Laurel is unable to provide super bills for any insurance company managed by Carelon).

Please contact your insurance company directly to determine if you have out-of-network provider benefits and would like to utilize this option. 

Sliding scale is offered when/if applicable. Please speak with Laurel during your consultation to determine what best fits your needs. 

Cash, check, HSA cards and all major credit cards are accepted methods of payment. Laurel uses Stripe via the secure client portal which is Simple Practice.

50 minute session: $140

75 minute session: $150

90 minute session: $180

75 min Initial Intake: $150

This cost for service applies to Sound Journeys and AcuWellness sessions. 

Please Note: Not everyone who seeks counseling meets the criteria for a mental health diagnosis, but this is required for services to be "medically necessary" to bill insurance. Insurance providers require a mental health diagnosis, justification, and clinical treatment planning in order for counseling to be covered. This means you must accept being assigned a diagnosis to receive benefits if choosing to submit a superbill for reimbursement purposes. When you pay out-of-pocket, you are guaranteed that the only people who know any of the details of counseling are you and your therapist.  There is no third party who can audit your records and know the details of what happens in your private sessions.
